  1. What is Mobbiexpress?

    Mobbiexpress is a system that sits on your MID (Mobile Internet Device) phone, coupled together with a Mobile Thermal Printer, to process credit card transactions on the fly when your clients are in a pinch with cash in hand.

    Why stumble across the tedious work of filing systems and large stacks of paperwork, not to mention waiting on payments from many of your clients on work you did last month.

    The complete Mobbiexpress Solution allows you to process Credit Card transactions (via Swipe or Smart chip), print out descriptive tax invoices on the spot and even help you manage your back office operations by providing you report files compatible with most accounting software.

  2. Will any MID (Mobile Internet Device) do?

    The current software only works under Windows Mobile MID operating systems. It is essential that the MID you purchase has Windows Mobile running and can support Bluetooth, however, there are a range of devices that have been tested that you can choose between to suit your needs, so you aren’t just limited to one device.
  3. Can I access my details from the MID?

    Absolutely! Just start your MID web browser and enter https://www.mobbieteller.com/mopaus/ in the address bar. To access your details, just use the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ associated with your Mobbiexpress Account.

     

  4. What can I do if I lose my Password?

    Mobbiexpress system is a 24 hour service with no downtime (maintenance, unforseen events excluded) however, unfortunately support is not. You may contact Mobbiexpress to have a password reset from business open times (Mon-Fri – 9am to 6pm, Sat-Sun – 10am-4pm) throughout the week.

  6. How can I access immediate help?

    Mobbiexpress Support is available during business hours (Mon-Fri – 9am to 6pm, Sat-Sun – 10am-4pm). We would like to help you keep your business up and running as much as possible, so we are available everyday of the week at specific times.

Technical FAQ

  1. When do I get my money?

    The Mobbiexpress solution allows you to collect credit card payment on the spot, however, transfer of funds is usually done on the Bank’s settlement time (Usually 6:00pm on the day). Depending on authorisation procedures, this may delay between 1-3 working days.

  2. Do I need a car kit?

    A car kit is not necessary. For the convenience of maintaining charge in your Thermal Printer and MID phone, car kits for both devices are available through the manufacturers or your hardware provider.

  3. Can I use my current SIM card?

    Yes! Your SIM card however must have a ‘Mobile Data’ plan activated. Please check with your nominated telecommunication provider on charges and special phone plans.

  4. I have several technical problems with the MID.

    Mobbiexpress staff-members are ready to help guide you through different problems you may have with your devices. Sometimes a general ‘Soft Reset’ of the device can solve most problems. Please note that more complicated problems associated with MID devices needs to be consulted by the manufacturer’s support team.

  5. Do I get my own MID from you?

    MID’s must be purchased from local retailers as we do not directly resell MID phones. Please contact us for advice for a list of recommended MID phones. Please note that the user is responsible for the function of the MID models and we cannot guarantee that all MID phones will be fault free.
